“A Nod to Nature: Bringing the Outside in for the Holidays” 

Learn how to create winter wreaths, swags, and festive decorations using materials from nature. Embrace the spirit of the season with creativity inspired by the great outdoors.

As a delightful addition, we’ll also be sharing our favorite fruit-forward crisps and cobbler recipes. Bring along a dish made from one of these recipes to share with fellow participants, and don’t forget to bring printed copies of your recipe to exchange ideas and savor the flavors of the season together.

March Club Meeting

“Designing Your Garden & Seed Starting”

Lisa Gramse, the owner of Bramble & Sage, a local flower farm and garden consultant, will walk us through a step-by-step process on how to design any garden. Whether your garden is for vegetables, cut flowers, pollinators, or water-wise, she will cover the key principles to set your garden up for success. Special focus will be on plant placement, crop rotation, and companion planting. Discussion will include pen and paper design versus garden design apps.

Stephen and Jillian Tueller, owners of the gardens at Studio 369, will be sharing the ins and outs of seed starting. They will be delving into what they do to start their market garden. Special focus will be on tips and tricks for getting your garden ready for spring. Come learn seed starting at its finest.

This meeting will be held at our new location. The New Logan Library.

Pressed Flower Bookmarks – Julia Arave: Julia will demonstrate flower bookmarks. She’ll have all the materials there to make one.
Gifts for the Gardener from the Gardener Holiday Decorations – Jara Vail will share ideas for gifts and decorations from the garden. We’ll have ideas and materials for creating holiday swags.

Our club brings together gardening enthusiasts of all levels and backgrounds to share knowledge, resources, and inspiration. We decided to start a gardening club in order to cultivate a vibrant and sustainable gardening community in Cache Valley by organizing educational events, workshops, and garden tours.

We aim to provide our members with opportunities to learn new skills, connect with other gardeners, and give back to the community through volunteer work.
